Kindergarten Backpack and School Supply Giveaway

Do you have a child entering Pre-K, Kindergarten or First Grade in the fall but need help with the cost of school supplies?

MHCM and the United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region want to help you get school supplies for your child.  On September 1, we will be distributing 200 free backpacks containing school supplies to families in need at the pavilion at MHCM.

These colorful, durable backpacks are filled with school supplies appropriate for pre-K and grades K-1. Every child receiving a backpack will also receive a coupon for one free admission to MHCM.

Each backpack contains:

• crayons
• markers
• pencils, pencil sharpeners and pencil holders
• safety scissors
• composition notebook
• coupon for one free child admission to MHCM

PLEASE NOTE:  Limit one backpack and one MHCM admission coupon per child. Limit 3 backpacks and 3 MHCM admission coupons per family.  Backpacks and coupons are available while supplies last and are distributed on a first come, first served basis. Children do NOT need to be present to receive backpack and coupon.  No agencies and no early birds.  Free onsite parking at MHCM.
