Outdoor Art Program: Cosmic Painting

June 11, 2021 | Two Sessions 10:00 am and 1:00 pm

Program Description: Explore the beauty of the universe during our outdoor Cosmic Painting workshop.  Using real NASA images for reference and inspiration, we’ll be sure to add a bit of whimsy as we create mini-masterpieces using water colors, easels and real canvases.

This program is for children ages 4-7 and space is limited.

Cost:  Materials fee:  MHCM Members: $4; non-members $8 per child

Please Note:  The main museum building remains closed at this time due to COVID-19.  This special socially distanced outdoor program will be held in MHCM’s open-air waterfront pavilion.  Social distancing will be enforced and stringent cleaning protocols will be in place.  Space is limited to 20 groups of 2-3 people (including adults).  Each group will be assigned to a separate workstation to ensure appropriate social distancing.  Face masks are required of all participants – no exceptions.  Pre-registration is required.  No walk-ins.
