Healthy Heart and Brain Workshop
November 11, 2016 | 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
This workshop will begin with a kid-friendly lesson on the major organs we have inside our bodies using colorful, plush props. We’ll talk about what each organ is and how to keep them healthy.
Then, with some background knowledge established, parents/caregivers and their children will work in teams (guided by museum educators) to examine and dissect examples of real hearts and brains.
Please note: This workshop is not for the squeamish. It is designed for children ages 5-8 and their parent/adult caregiver.
Workshop Fee (includes materials): $15.00 per child; adults free
