Wind Power Workshop

October 10, 2016 | 10:00 am to 12:00 noon

Discover the world of engineering by exploring wind power.  What is an engineer?  What real world challenges do they solve?

We’ll learn about the engineering process and more as children and their adult caregivers work together in teams to explore wind energy.  Each team will design, build and test their own wind powered turbines and wind-powered cars.  This workshop is designed for children ages 5-8 and their parent/adult caregiver.

Workshop Fee (includes materials):  $15.00 per child; adults free
