Making Masterpieces: Action Jackson Painting
September 18, 2019 | 2:00 pm – 2:45 pm
About Making Masterpieces: This facilitated art program invites parents and caregivers to work with their pre-school aged children to create something special to take home! Each month features a new project!
Jackson Pollack was famous for painting by dripping paint onto giant canvases to make art. Children will hear the story of Jackson Pollock’s influential approach to art, then they will use his emotional style to create their own canvas splatter painting. Warning: this could (will) get messy!
Cost: Museum admission, plus $5.00 materials fee per child.
