Making Masterpieces: Sugar Skulls

October 30, 2019 | 2:00 pm

Dia de Los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, is a popular holiday celebrated in Mexico and around the world on November 1st.  Children will learn about the holiday and decorate their own traditional sugar skull with special brightly colored royal icing.

Because sugar skulls must be made in advance, pre-registration for this program is highly recommended.

Cost:  $5.00 materials fee per child (adults free) plus museum admission

About Making Masterpieces:  This facilitated art program invites parents and caregivers to work with their pre-school aged children to create something special to take home!  Each month features a new project!
