Outdoor Pop-Up Museum Experience: Rockets!

June 4, 2021 | Two Sessions 10:00 am and 1:00 pm

Program Description:  With help from NASA we’ve created a new Pop-up Museum Experience that will have you planning your own rocket launch at 6 hands-on activity stations.  You will build and shoot mini-rockets, test rockets in a wind-tunnel, and assemble a model of NASA’s Space Launch System!  Each station features digital tablets with resources and educational content from NASA.

This program is for children ages 5-7 and space is limited. Pre-registration is required.

Cost:  MHCM Members: $4; non-members $8 per child (parents / caregivers FREE)

Please Note:  The main museum building remains closed at this time due to COVID-19.  This special socially-distanced outdoor program will be held in MHCM’s open-air waterfront pavilion.  Face masks are required of all participants – no exceptions.  Pre-registration is required.  No walk-ins.
