Outdoor Program: Space Science

August 7, 2020 | Two Sessions 10:00 am and 1:00 pm

Program Description:  From nebula to super nova, this program will take you through the life cycle of a star featuring a mix of exciting educator demos and hands-on activities. We’ll even make a comet from real materials and a pocket model of the solar system that you can take home!

This program is for children ages 6-7 and space is limited.

Cost:  MHCM Members: FREE; non-members $3 per child

Please Note:  The main museum building remains closed at this time due to COVID-19.  This special socially distanced outdoor program will be held in MHCM’s open-air waterfront pavilion.  Social distancing will be enforced and stringent cleaning protocols will be in place.  Space is limited to 20 groups of 2-3 people (including adults).  Each group will be assigned to a separate workstation to ensure appropriate social distancing.  Face masks are required of all participants – no exceptions.  Pre-registration is required.  No walk-ins.
