Foodology – Pickles!

Food Science Workshops invite children and adults to explore the fascinating science behind the foods we eat every day. This workshop is designed for children ages 4 – 6 and their parent/caregiver. There is a different workshop theme each week during the summer!
This week’s theme: Pickles! – We’ll learn about the science behind pickling, taste test various pickles and then we’ll make our own quick pickles with cucumbers and other vegetables from our garden using spices chosen by the kids.
Workshop Cost: $9 per child, plus museum admission.
