Science Lab: Wind Energy

Science Lab Workshops invite children and adults to get creative and explore concepts in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).  This workshop is designed for children ages 4 – 6 and their parent/caregiver.  There is a different workshop theme each week during the summer!

This week’s theme: Wind Energy Lab – Turn the wind into electricity and movement!  Participants will design and test windmills with our new lab equipment while they learn about sustainable energy.  They will then invent their own wind-powered car!

Workshop Cost:  $9 per child, plus museum admission.
