Educators – join us for a special night at the Museum!
PreK – 5th educators are invited to a free evening to explore MHDM, interact with our exhibits, and learn about traveling science programs and field trips, many of which are aligned with NGSS, NYSLS & Sci21. Staff will be on hand to answer questions.
Educator Night is free with school ID. This is an adults only event – please do not bring children.

Join us for this creative and fun workshop with puppeteer, puppet builder and arts educator, Brad Shur, the founder and lead artist of Paper Heart Puppets. Enter Brad’s Cardboard Kingdom! Brad’s expertise will guide you through creating your own cardboard puppet. Magically, each puppet will become a character in a guided, improvised puppet show that has every new puppeteer working with the master to tell a fantastic story.
