TODAY’S THEME:

Under the River: Aquatic Life and Ecosystems

• Art Activities: Kids can create river-themed mosaics, paint fish and build sea creatures from recycled materials.
• Science Link: With the help of I Fish NY, learn how rivers are ecosystems where many plants, animals, and microorganisms live. Learn about various fish species that live in rivers, like salmon, trout, eel, and bass and discover how they use rivers for breeding, feeding, and migration.

Geared toward children ages 5 and older.

Program takes place in the museum pavilion and is FREE. (We reserve the right to move this program inside the museum. In that case, regular museum admission will be required.)

Make a day of it and visit the museum too! (Regular museum admission applies.)
